5Powerful reality inspires change for better  Nov 19, 2009
By Farrah Rivera "farcatt"
Great cover and liked the parallel of perception. Quick read but packs a reality punch! True stories of young urban lives and how there is light at the end of the tunnel showing that you can change the direction of your life at anytime.
Well written! I could visualize every scenerio. Opening my mind to more of the harsh reality that many kids still face and more stories yet told. A serious topic and deserves much interest to open the eyes of america.
I recommend this book to create more awareness, hope and to understand every child has a story and chance of a happy ending.

5Powerful and Relevant  Nov 19, 2009
By SRobinson "SMARTSHOPPER"
As a ten year mentor of a an African American teen, I understand the importance of books like Honey in a Hornets Nest.
The author leans on his personal experience working within the Detroit juvenile system, as he exposes real life situations
where young people make life changing mistakes out the fallacies of the hip hop culture. Powerful and Relevant to our time.
