Hook-Up Chronicles

Hook-up Chronicles is a collection of stories written by women about their sexual adventures. The book smashes through traditional stereotypes and reveals the American woman as a complex sexual being who is secure in her own sexuality and…if we do say so ourselves…a lot of fun to read about. The stories showcased in this first volume were chosen from thousands of entries provided by women all over America. Each story is a raw exploration of the female sexual psyche told in first person by the woman who actually experienced it. From the titillating to the tremendous, these stories cover the entire gamut of social interaction in the sexual arena. These stories highlight the journey from everyday existence to extraordinary heights of sexual satisfaction told by common women and girls who are not afraid to enjoy uncommonly erotic adventures. They are both entertaining and educational.

2No worth your money  Feb 24, 2010
By April Dunn "Bookster"
I thought this book was going to be Juicy and Hot, but it was pretty lame. The grammar was so bad, it took away from the stories (Which weren't even that good to begin with). I can't imagine anyone would think these stories are more than a bunch of High School kids telling stories about the first conquests. To tell you the truth, get the Judy Blume book Wifey, it's way hotter.

1Money not well spent  Jan 30, 2010

Buy Chelsea Handlers "My Horizontal Life" instead. Its a much better book- this is a collection from what seems like lame highschoolers for the most part.

1Poorly written and not very funny at all...  Jan 25, 2010
By W. Kei
I was hoping for some funny stories about girls hooking up, similar to Tucker Max or Chelsea Handler, but this was nothing like those two books. It's just a collection of very poorly written 1-2 pages stories of random girls who have hooked up with guys. After a while, the stories become very boring as they are somewhat similar. Worst of all, there are tons of syntactical errors, so it's hard to read at times.

1Don't buy  Apr 01, 2010

Very poorly edited. The lack of comma's in "Flatulence" made it almost incomprehensible. The first line is : "Back in my freak days I'm a retired freak now that I'm in a relationship I went to a local Norman bar we will call the nugget". (sic, sic, and sic).

The tales get boring rather quickly.

Stick with Handler or any other author who employs an editor.

1HOOK UP WITH ANOTHER BOOK  Jan 22, 2010
By James L. Woolridge "Wooly in PSL, FL."
I thought Tucker Max did a great job with his book, ashamed but I laughed out loud. I see all the great reviews and how could I turn down a ladies version of Tucker's escapades. Whoa, it isn't even close. This could have been done by a group of student, albeit, bad students, as a project. Very little humor, poorly told vignettes and very few interesting tales. I guess I am about to get a lot of 'this didn't help' clicks based on the reviews but HOOK UP isn't good.
