By Neil Rucker Those who enjoy Brian jacques and Kenneth Grahame will enjoy this book. Think of a Louis L'Amour adventure with animals. A great read for pre-teens to adults. A must for everyone's Gift List as well as their home library.

By ranger75 House of Brick is a must read, whether you're a fan of Brian Jacques or Louis L'Amour. A bright, tight, lovely story, with a cast of characters that everyone will get a kick out of. Read it yourself, give it to your kids, tell your friends about it, demand that someone make a movie out of it; it's hard to imagine anyone not enjoying this return to books that are simply fun to read
Great Read! Dec 02, 2008
By S. Sakaki Dark-Tooth, Silvermane, Bowdoodle Cocklebur -- it is easy to forget that the characters populating this story are animals. They are thoroughly "human" with all the human qualities of bravery, greed, intelligency, foolishness. I fell in love with the characters and was so caught up in the story that when I finished the last page, I returned to page one to begin the adventure again. Where's the sequel?
Reading Pleasure Nov 25, 2008
By Mica A. Eades Was me and this book on a holiday retreat away from it all--no phone, no Blackberry, no email, no tv, no internet. It was simply fabulous; both the book and the trip. I submersed myself in the cute but also well-crafted story and all lovable creature characters. I couldn't put it down and as I decided to leave the book for later travelers to enjoy at the Hick's Island House in Vieques, I trust the book is now drawing fans from around the world.
