Complex made simple Jul 07, 2009
By Simon Maurice Franco Mr.Norman Benjamin's HOW FAT - HOW THIN - is one of those rare books about diets, health, metabolism and the sort that does not make you feel guilty of doing the wrong things all the time. Rather, in comprehensive, non-medical yet precise language,it led me casually through the nuts and bolts of my internal mechanisms... while enjoying it ! I strongly recommend HOW FAT - HOW THIN to youngsters of all ages !

Simple Logic Jun 12, 2009
By Ben Martin I don't usually read books about health or wellness or anything in that area. But a doctor friend sent me a copy of this book and, despite my natural resistance, I found myself unable to put it down. Its unpretentious, breezy style and "small bite" chapters make it eminently readable. Never having given too much thought to the issues, I found it a thoroughly enjoyable wake-up -- engrossing enough so that I went out and bought a wrist monitor in order to check my heart rate on my hikes.

FANTASTIC! INTERESTING HOW BASIC DETAILS CAN BE EASILY OVERLOOKED WHILE SO MANY DIETS ARE OFFERED OUT THERE! May 28, 2009
By Marcia Benjamin Interesting how basic details can be easily overlooked while so many nutritional regimens are offered out there! My metabolism has been such that after trying various "famous" diets, combined with exercise, I still struggle loosing 10 pounds or so, and keeping it off! I think this book is "the light at the end of the tunnel"! Can't wait to try your suggestions! Thank you, Norman!

"How Fat - How Thin: The 101 Best-Kept Secrets About Our Metabolism and Some Surprising Insights into Our Origins and Lifestyles" discusses health and how a lifestyle is the most important element in deciding one's metabolic rate in life and how that will lead to good health, instead of the extremes of under and overweight. With plenty of dieting advice and wisdom, "How Fat - How Thin" is solid advice that will do any dieter well.
