Excellent job by author. Jul 12, 2008 (I wrote a review about this book last week, but it apparently got round-filed).
There's good news and bad news:
Good news #1 - The author did an excellent job.
His book is better than many "user manuals" I've seen that come with
software applications and such.
Good news #2 - the author voluntarily suspended his book's amazon distribution, after a reviewer brought it to his attention that Booksurge had a rate hike.
That the $99 price is no more; and the package now costs $299
Very proactive on the author's part.
Bad news #1 - the $99 pricing is history.
That is too bad that such a dramatic rate hike took place.
(basically a 3x price hike)
Bad news # 2 - The booksurge website isn't the most easily navigated website I've visited.
I had a hard time finding the $299 package (former $99 package).
Closest I could find last week was one for $499.
The $299 package IS there.
What you are looking for is the package with the title
"Author's Express Publishing Program - Black & White"
or
"Author's Express Publishing Program - Color".
(either one is $299)
You'll find it under a section, "Print-Ready Adobe PDF Submissions "

What $99 Booksurge program? Jun 08, 2008 The 2008 2nd edition of this book is supposedly designed to help authors use Booksurge's "Author's Express Publishing Program-Black & White-$99." However, I can't find this program on their site for less than $299. Am I missing some small print somewhere? Surely Booksurge wouldn't publish a book about their own services with an erroneous or misleading title, would they?
The formatting information is valuable.
