Michael Andrews no nonsense and practical approach provides a highly inspiring read. Unlike many similar books on this very daunting subject isis often convulated with the latest business school fads. In this book it literally provides what it says on the cover page insightful practical take aways with poignant rationale in pleasant story telling fashion for illustrative purposes.

Michael F. Andrew's book is a MUST READ for all business professionals. I have read numerous business books over the years and this is at the TOP of the list. I will continue to recommend and share this book with others.
This read was fresh, energizing, inspiring, and wise. It is Mr. Andrew's strong business acumen coupled with a keen understanding of human dynamics that culminate in a masterfully written book that brings us back to what really matters and how important it is to do it right.
He weaves in stories and anecdotes that engage us while delivering the key business concepts that can drive performance and results to create value.

The Next Book You Should Read... Apr 25, 2008

At long last, here is a book about business that is easy to read, easy to understand, contains valuable quotes and covers just about all one needs to know in the business world. It has taken me 34 years to acquire this knowledge. If only I had this book to read, back then. I recommend this book not only to someone who is new to the business world, but for anyone, whether in business or not, for the knowledge, experience and insight it imparts. Thank you Mr Andrew.

The author does an outstaning job outlining the essentials for successful leadership. While there are plenty of books on the market that focus on leadership development, none of them can match up to this practical and easy to read book. Mr. Andrew excels at bringing leadership principles to life with his illustrative examples.
The author also dedicates half of the book to building "Business Acumen". If you're looking for a quick read to improve your business acumen, this may be a good book for you to start with.

This is a very easy and understandable book to read. Instead of having to search, research and read many books on this topic, Michael Andrew's book has provided information on valuable skills and insights a leader needs to have and know, and it can all be found in this one book.
This is a valuable book and I still use it as a reference to constantly remind myself to practice these leadership qualities.
I am eager to read more about Michael Andrew's insights on the topic of leadership. I hope he will write another book on it.
