5fun to read!  Aug 27, 2009
By L_in_Wien "LL"
I really enjoyed reading this book with my toddler! He loved the wonderful illustrations and the funny characters. I really like reading this one with him. It is fresh and creative. There are lots of little details to point out in the colorful drawings. So many kids books seem silly and babyish, but this one is enjoyable even after MANY reads. You will love sharing this one with your kids!

2OK - Not great.  May 13, 2011

I bought this book because my 2.5 years old loves to read on my Kindle with me. The pictures turned out pretty good in grey scale, but the opposite concepts are a little over his head (and he's pretty advanced).

5"I Say...You Say; A Zany Peep at Opposites"  Aug 31, 2009
By Nancy R. Strauss "Retired Elementary School Teacher"
I read this extremely creative book, "I Say...You Say", to a 5 year old granddaughter who became immediately engaged. After listening to a few pages, she began responding appropriately to the "opposites", re; "fancy-plain". She understood, when questioned, that Pal and Friend are not "opposite" and reciprocated to my chosen words in the blank lines of "I say...You say.
This book is logical, so the rhyming words used lead the reader and listener/child into the response.

Each page has such unique and colorful illustrations, but the fantastic Peepers created immediate attention from my granddaughter. She has learned the names of each. I think the author, an artist, has had so much fun herself creating these creatures, that she thought to devote a page for the reader to design a Peeper, too. What fun! I can't wait to see what my granddaughter creates!!
