I am experienced in longe line and have trouble finding any info that has something I don't already know! This book was written by someone who has 'been there'and had several valuable hints for the experienced and many more for beginners to intermediate longe liners.

3Great starter book! Wish I had it a few years ago.  Dec 16, 2008

I remember watching my first futurity and wondering how do they get them to do that.
This is the book that tells you how. It will help all those little questions find answers. Now in my second year of longelining I thought it to basic for my needs. But, it is still a great novice and 4-H starter. A must if you are beginning longeline.

If you could just find a copy that the horse could understand. What a time saver that would be.

I was really excited to get the book to learn what I could do with my weanlings to prepare them for their show careers. I am relatively new to the show scene, but have shown my weanlings in halter. I was surprised to see the shortness of the book. As it turns out, only the last few pages had any beneficial information for me. All in all, it was written well, it just didn't have as much insight into the actual SHOWING of longeliners as I had hoped.
