Exceptionally Vivid Illustrations Sep 15, 2006
My nephew and I love the illustrations in this book; we decided our favorites are the mummy's tomb and the viking ship. The subject of archaeology is uncommon in children's books and this one expresses to the young reader all of the exciting adventures they might have if they choose it as an occupation. At the end, the young character poses the question most of us have probably pondered at various times in our lives.
