An eight year old's imagination knows no boundaries! May 31, 2004
This brightly colored book tells the story of a fictional child's trip to Hong Kong and what it takes to get ready for it. It is told as a circular story and very colorfully illustrated by the eight year old author. The story is based on past events in the author's life such as the experience of his family hosting a Chinese foreign exchange student, his perceptions of how to prepare for a big trip, and his actually caring for a real Venus Flytrap. Perhaps this is the first of a series of travel adventures by the Venus Flytrap and his friend!
