`I'll Tuck You In, Deer' Jan 31, 2008 `I'll Tuck You In, Deer' is a quaint little tale of love for wildlife and the unexpected uniting of a deer and a family. Authors April Robins, Celeste Robins and Ruby Robins put this little story of a lost deer and a family into an endearing tale that children will love. This book is a slower paced book than their others as it is a bedtime story for children which will induce slumber while they are trying to sleep. I highly recommend this as a bedtime story for children.

Read as You Tuck In Your Child Dec 20, 2007 What a warm and loving feeling you will get after reading this story. What a lucky deer! I'll Tuck You in, Deer is a perfect read at bedtime. You can reinforce your love by tucking in your child, as you read about the little boy in the story being tucked in by his parents. The story talks about developing loving relationships. The woman makes a quilt for her mother to help celebrate her victory, the man leaves food in hope that a deer will find it, the boy dreams of running through the woods with the dog and the deer, and the deer wants to be treated like the dog by the man he has befriended. You feel for the deer in the fact that he misses his mother, but you rejoice with him in the fact that he is part of a new and caring family. After you have read the book, just softly whisper to your sleepy child, "I'll Tuck You in, Dear."
