Awesome Read For Kids!!!!!!! May 09, 2008

Dawn is a brillant creator of characters and bringing them to the forefront. You feel as though you are in the scenes with these life-like characters and it allows kids to connect with those characters.
I highly recommend this for children. I would love to see some of the characters as dolls and this makes for a great audiotape book or DVD.

IMAGINATION: A Journey of the Mind by Dawn Anfuso and illustrated by Suzanne Gibson is a charming picture book that inspires creativity. "Let's Pretend" is always a favorite activity and this book's enamoring rhyming verse and gorgeous pastels are the perfect accompaniment to 'dressing-up'! One timely favorite is the page with the Pirate! "If your box begins to tip, You can pretend it is a ship"...ah the wonder of the plain old paper box Great for reading to toddlers and fun first reader for pre-school/kindergarten and first graders. Terrific for an older child to read to a younger one. AND my favorite-- a wonderful rainy day activity or for when the new babysitter shows up. Keep it on display it's so gorgeous it will make a nice addition to your child's book case. And don't forget to save a cardboard box and toss in some dress up items like a crown and cowboy hats and more...so your kids can be king or queen of the mountain. I just love the cover....total empowerment! As noted, it is a terrific gift for a birthday for someone of any age who values creativity and imagination.
It's Great for 3 Year Olds! May 21, 2007
By David Libby My 3-year old, Rebecca, loves this Imagination book. She's at the perfect age because everything is "pretend." Bex was studying the book when I was reading it to her, then she asked me to read it again. Very cool!
