Immortalizing Elliot

On a private island in Southeast Asia, film director Elliot Cornflower lives in the quiet horror of a purposeless life. The only copy of his film “The Sun in the Morning” has literally been taken from him. Hounded by the passing phantoms of media helicopters and haunted by the memory of the making of his last film, he labors to create one more work, a biopic of Genghis Khan, while his curiously omniscient biographer observes and examines the artistic obsession of this most extraordinary auteur.
