In Search of the Rainbow

Injured in an accident that left her partially paralyzed from the waist down, Hannah, a Maine islander, struggles with her disability and attempts to draw up what little courage she has in order to go forward with her life. She has buried her passion for living and vows to never allow her heart to control anything she does. 4Hope, Love, and Determination  Feb 11, 2010
By Joanne Croft
"In Search of the Rainbow" is a beautiful story of the hope, love and determination of a young girl as she struggles with her physical disability. The author captures the human emotions with those of nature in such poetic detail. I enjoyed the development of the characters as the story progressed, real people with whom you could relate. I found the historical information about incidences and various places visited in the book to be of great interest. The story intices you to island living but more importantly it demonstrates how strongly the bonds of family, friends, and our beloved pets can impact our lives. While reading this story the author's own beautiful "spirit of heart" comes through.
