5PULSATING FLAVOR  Jul 14, 2006
What a wonderful way to experience the exotic thrills of island and mountain living! I came from the snows of a cold city and this novel pulled me into it's sunshine and beauty.

It was a continuous journey of thrills and delight for me.
The mountain atmosphere and the coastal paradise was the perfect setting for the sizzling romance that developed slowly but intensely between the main characters.

Every kiss and every romantic encounter was wrapped in the lush greenery and pulsating flavor of the exquisite landscapes.

A must read for all who seek a richer, fuller romance novel from a truly gifted and creative writer.

4A HIGHER SPIRITUAL LOVE  May 02, 2006

Wow! This exclamation came from my lips continuously as I read this exciting novel. It was clear from the first page that the author intended to seduce each reader into feeling every human emotion possible.

I was thrilled with the family togetherness. The special relationship the main characters (Sheba and Solomon) have with their families is an inspiration to me. This special kind of closeness helped them to connect with each other on a spiritual level before the physical level.

And what a physical level! Wow! When the passion ignited it sent hot steam right through the pages. For the first time in my life, I realized that there is a spiritual level that propels true love to its fullest.

Yes, I got the message loud and clear and I am encouraging all of my male friends to read this book so that they can get the message!

5DELIGHTFUL INDULGENCE  Nov 19, 2005
Doris P. Gibson, Atlanta, Georgia

When you look at the world through the eyes of love, life offers up unexpected pleasures. With all the negative attitudes and events in the world today, Cecilia Vaughn's novel is definitely a delightful indulgence.

From beginning to end each character was molded and shaped into
vibrant, exciting individuals who loved life and drew me into their interesting and sometimes eccentric personalities.

Finally, I gave myself permission to just relax and receive the goodness abundantly written on each page of this enchanting masterpiece. Thank you, thank you.

1So Sweet It's Sickening  Mar 19, 2005
This is a tale that I assume is loosely based on the Song of Soloman and explores the romance of Sheba a Phd in Music and Soloman a successful architect.

Now, in no way am I a cynic and I definitely enjoy a good romance but this was just too much. Vaughan makes a cursory attempt at including her own lyrics which are just really over the top.

I struggled with this book and actually did not finish it. I skipped ahead to the last chapter hoping that it would spark an interest and make me want to go back and read more. Instead it just made me glad I did not waste my time and try to finish it. I mean they fell in love on the first date. He proposed on the second date. I can't figure out what took so long to get to the wedding!

5VALENTINE SWEETNESS!  Mar 10, 2004
When my fiancé presented me with red roses and a romance novel instead of chocolates for Valentine, I was overwhelmed. This amazing gift captured my heart and continued the enchantment as I settled down to relish my special gift. I will always remember that Friday night as the sun was slowly leaving my Island home and I settled on my window seat in great anticipation!

From the first page with the delicious chocolate descriptions, I remained in awe of this unique journey into blissful romance. The refreshing ocean scenes, the beach parties, dancing on the harbor, eating enticing Island food, the unexpected meeting, the first kiss, the first taste of intimate love, are just a few of the heart warming pleasures that kept me up until the sun came back to my Island home.

Thank you, thank you, sweetheart for giving me a gift that I will cherish forever!
