Penny Garrison is a retired elementary teacher with a Masters Degree in Rel. Education. She and her husband Jim, live in Bowling Green, MO where they are active in Cowboy Church. They are parents to three sons. She has spent the last ten years working with chaplains in mens' prisons in Missouri and also has taught in the NewStart Program in the Tennessee Prison for Women. Penny has also directed the InnerChange Freedom Initiative Program/Prison Fellowship at Women's Eastern Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She believes in the power of prayer and is on the executive board of Restoring the Gates Prayer Ministry for the state of Missouri.
