Ron's "Novel" Idea - - - May 24, 2006
By George D. O'Clock, Jr.
"G. Dan"
Years ago, at a high school reunion, I had a nice visit with Ron Terborg. During our conversation, Ron discussed his idea for a book about a Native American dream catcher. I remember thinking, "What a novel idea." And indeed it was, and is, a "novel" idea.
Whether you believe in dream catchers like Daniel Gray Wolf or not, trust me, this book is interesting and fun to read. Many of the characters are people I would like to meet.
Daniel is like us. He does not have the advantages of Batman, Billy Jack or John Rambo. He makes mistakes, sometimes he doesn't think things through, sometimes he has the wrong impression, and he can be frightened out of his wits. But Daniel has a special gift. Some people have the special gift of a beautiful voice, some paint, some play the piano, some are athletic and some have charisma. Daniel's gift is an unusual paranormal ability. There are times when Daniel is not sure if his "ability" is a gift or a curse.
The author teaches us a number of things in his book. In one instance, he teaches us not to judge or condemn people too quickly. In another, he teaches us to trust our instincts. The author also teaches us about the dignity and validity of Native American spirituality.
I have already given Ron this message verbally, but I will repeat it. "Ron, please give us more. This book, this story and these characters have interesting places to go. Please allow us to continue the journey with them."
One more thing - - - this book is work of fiction, but I believe it is just on the "edge." Daniel Gray Wolf is out there.

Let's make a movie!! Sep 18, 2007
By G. Bynum Mr.Terborg has written a "can't put it down" novel that I hope someone can create a movie from. There's action, mystery, suspense, excitement and a touch of romance all wrapped up in a nice package of enjoyment. I had planned on a few chapters a day in my spare moments but instead read the whole book in the course of a day. It's been a long time since that has happened to me! I especially appreciated the research Mr.Terborg has done to present to the reader not only old Native American ways but also an accurate picture of the modern day reservation life. A must read!

Great Storyteller! A must read! Jan 31, 2011
By Tammy McGlynn Ron Terborg has written a great book full of suspense, intrigue and true Native American lore.
The characters are wonderfully created and I found myself totally captivated by the story
of Daniel Gray Wolf and his quest to rescue a kidnapped girl from a nightmare ridden criminal.
The dialogs are very well written and I found myself caught up in the story immediately. I
would love to see this book developed into a screenplay. As another reviewer said, it would
make a great movie!
I have already recommended this book to a number of friends. Mr. Terborg is a true talent and
I look forward to reading more of his work.
Encore!!
I couldn't stop reading! Nov 08, 2011
By Noreen Gilman From the first moment that I was introduced to Daniel Gray Wolf, I was intrigued, no, more like fascinated by this story. My mind's eye traveled along with each page and the fullness of the descriptions. Great story (it SHOULD be a movie!) and hopefully there will be another some time soon. Mr. Terborg is a wordsmith and a dream catcher!
Great book--worthy of all the praise it is getting Mar 29, 2011

"In Your Dreams" is one of my favorite books.
It has a compelling story line, suspense, and some of the best and most unforgettable characters I've ever encountered.
The book is written perfectly, in that the book starts with a problem, and doesn't end until that problem is resolved, and within that overal story arc is a suspense novel that underlies the bigger problem.
It's not often you run across a book that works on multiple levels, AND starts/ends where it should, AND has such great characters...and all in a first novel. And the ending was truly great. I didn't just get choked up, I out and out cried for 2-3 minutes. I have never done that for a book before.
It's not to say the book was perfect. I felt it started a little slowly, and some of the dialogue didn't work for me. But that's happened to me in best-sellers, too.
I really want more from this author. I would love to have more from this setting and these characters, but I feel confident whatever novel Ron Terborg writes, it will be worth reading and owning.
Buy this book. You won't regret it.
