A Handbook for Coalition Leaders in Iraq Sep 03, 2007
By A. Obrien This perceptive book is by far the most current handbook and reference on culture and the conflict here in Iraq. The fiction format allows factual reporting by an experienced Iraqi hand currently serving in Baghdad, working daily with Iraqis, and Coalition partners. Terry Mitchell's book gives the truth, accurate, well researched, and clothed in an engrossing story. Some will recognize characters, and names from tours in Iraq.
Thank you for an excellent book. It should be in the PX in Baghdad and Victory Base.

Fascinating and extremely realistic Aug 16, 2007
By Bruce Kerwin I could not put this story down until I finished the last exciting chapter. the characters, though fictional, are spot on with all the soldiers and Iraqi young men I met whilst in Baghdad this year. Mr Mitchell draws you into the struggle and shows you the human side of the fight. One of the best accounts of military life I have read.

By Mr. M. Scott A great read that I would widely recommend. Being the first published work from an exciting new author, I would hope that a follow up is in the pipeline.
Terry Mitchell has developed an intriguing story that delves into the complex human terrain of war-torn Baghdad, as seen from the perspective of both Iraqi [insurgent] and United States combatants.
Equally relevant for coalition junior leaders or interested non-military members of the community.
