Inspiring, uplifting, simply a wonderful novel Feb 18, 2005
By Cathy During many, many years I have read books and some came just when I was in need of a message. But none like IN THE MIDST OF TIME, where I see how hundreds of readers will be able to not only find a message they were waiting for, but also see a part of themselves reflected throughout the pages.
I found it to be inspiring, uplifting, with mirror-reflecting emotions and yet, in an unjudgemental way, it showed me that my past errors were really path-paving stones to take me where I am today. I expect to re-read this one as the years go by. Congratualtions!
A good story...but Jan 29, 2008
By VLJ The story is good. I'm just about finished with it. At times the book is very difficult to put down. It keeps your interest. However, at times the reading can be tricky due to gramatical errors. I'm not just talking about a few. I find it very difficult to believe that this book could have been proof read prior to going to print. Examples are sentence structure; commas where periods should be; using "can" in instances where "cannot should have been used; the word "quiet" was mis-spelled numerous times with "quite", using "a" when needing "an" and vice versa, etc. I was never an Engligh major (far from it) but the errors would discourage me from ordering another book from this publisher.
Very different, Very good May 29, 2005

"Queen of her castle AND her home library"
What a unique way to tell a story. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend to all that this is one to read.
The story is a bit inspirational but by all means, the story is not too "cushy" it has plenty of "meat" and real life on the pages. Have you ever wondered "What would happen if.....?" or "I wonder what became of so-and-so after I......?"
That's one of the formats of this book that makes it so good and very different. Great storyline!
I do feel that the proof reader could have double checked the writing one more time because there were a few mistakes that could have been corrected which would have made the flow of reading a bit better.
Great story though and a book that I think would be enjoyed by everyone.
