Well worth the journey Oct 22, 2009
By Curt G. Laird Real transformation is rare, but Dan weaves his own story with transformation principles in such an open and humble way that it makes transformation feel attainable. This book is a journey well worth taking. It challenges so many "sacred cows" of self-help and shallow Christian "performance" that you have to put it down every once in a while just so you don't get overwhelmed by the new ways of looking at life and transformation. This book and these ideas are not for those looking for "easy" answers; they challenge the pat answers in so many books and force you to reconsider many ways you've been looking at life. And yet, Dan always ties it back to his own life, brings you into his own journey, and encourages you to journey with him.

INVALUABLE - from a picky reader Feb 27, 2010
By Karen E. DuCharme In the Twinkle of an "I" There is Something New Under the Son.
REVIEW BY: DAVID ISAAC DUCHARME (transcribed by Karen)
I grabbed this book off of the table shortly after my room-mate brought it in and left it there. She had not started it yet so I did, and then informed her! (lol, she was okay with it). It was a little slow to me at first but the beginning was worth wading through as it then got into some really good work. I liked the stories and found each paragraph to be condensed- something that can be read more than once and applied to my life. I like to read the new and old JOHN & STACY ELDREDGE books as well as ROBERT BLY and would put this one up there with those. Thanks Dan!

I really dig this book. I find it interupting how i complain. I still find myself complaining - but now it is with the objective of having things work out for a better future versus about why things have not worked out so far.
Seeing my complaint as different than me - allows me to, at least to some extent, have the complaint instead of have the complaint have me.
I highly recommend this book to everyone
Creates Awareness to be what God Created you to be Nov 12, 2009
By Cathy Gorman In this book Dan is completely transparent and shares many personal stories about how God has working in his life. I am so thankful to have this book and Dan as a resource to open blind spots in my life that are holding me back from an unprecedented life and an intimate relationship with God. The book has helped me see that anything is possible and that I have all I need to accomplish everything God has called me to. Dan has insired me to play to win...instead of playing not to lose.
