tender hearted, delightfully illustrated Sep 23, 2009 Irving the Frog has been asked for again and again by my three-to five-year-old students. Simple, delightfully illustrated story has themes of feelings, belonging, manners, and, yes, music.

Good book for children in suzuki program Dec 12, 2008 My daughter liked this book. She is starting to play violin. I think it connected well with her. She is six years old.
Beautifully written and illustrated! Apr 24, 2008 Irving the Frog and his Violin is a beautifully written children's story. It shares a wonderful life lesson for all ages. My young daughter loves the illustrations of Irving and his animal friends. She asks to have the story read to her night after night. Great writing, great illustrations and a great lesson....this is one book that I enjoy reading to her again and again.
Wonderful Fairy-tale Told in a Refreshing Approach Apr 15, 2008 Irving the Frog and His Violin is an adorable story with a compelling message of essentials and contentment in life presented with delightful expressions and colorful pictures. A great lesson for our kids and reminder to us all. Apr 12, 2008 Irving the Frog and His Violin teaches an important concept we all want to pass along to our children. Especially in today's times when the definition of happiness and what's important can be so cofusing to our young people. The author does a fabulous job of doing it for us with magical words and beautiful illustrations. Irving is ingratiating, soulful, innocent and, most of all, incredibily lovable.
Michelle Zwirn does an insightful job of appealing to the soul of kids from 3 to 93.
