It Was Thursday

An attack on Washington D.C.? In the near future US foreign policy is defined by "hot zones." Erratic US policies have frustrated allies and enemies alike. The newly elected President must balance political rhetoric against a war hero General against the need and desire to support that same General. Defenders and veterans who served with this General are upset and rumors are everywhere that some form of action may be planned. But no one knows what. Investigations at different levels cross paths without knowledge of, or helping, each other. But it is too late anyway. The story is about the conspiracy, how everyday people play a part without knowing, separate investigations and the aftermath of a devastating plot.
