A great book for the young and young at heart Apr 07, 2009
By Danielle Taddy
"Nature Enthusiast"
I purchased this cute little book as a birthday present for a 5 year old and she loved it! It's Not Mean to Be Green is a well written story that provides a meaningful message for little ones to understand the importance of protecting our resources. I enjoyed reading it too!
Fun and Timely Book!! Feb 20, 2009
By David Kilroy The rhythm makes it great for beginning readers, like my 6 year old, and the illustrations are original and eye-catching. Great message, too. Will absolutely be looking for more stuff from Kleman.
Good, without being "preachy" Feb 17, 2009

"fun mom"
My four year old son & I just recently read this wonderful book. It is a fun introduction to the green movement thru the eyes a child. It is informative without being "preachy". I would highly recommend this book!
Wonderful read for children (and adults) of all ages! Feb 17, 2009
By Jennifer Whalen This book was wonderful! We were so excited to receive it and we were not in the least bit disappointed. The writing was smart, creative and easily understood by a 4 year old (and appreciated by a 30 something year old!). The illustrations are beautiful and the message is loud and clear. I definitely was not let down with this book and would recommend it across the board. I look forward to more books by Jamie Kleman and the illustrator Tara Volpe. Keep up the good work ladies!
Excellent way to address "green" living to the children of today. Feb 17, 2009
By Anonymous I love to read this book to my 4 year old daughter. Actually, she is the one that is usually bringing the book over to ME. We try to be as "green" as possible, but this book is a fun way to reinforce and explain to children "what it means to be green". Thanks for creating such a wonderful book!
