A wonderful book for ages 3-8! May 23, 2010
By ReviewsByMolly I have two children ages 5 and 7, so when I have the chance to review a children's book, I jump on it as I like to share them with my children. I'm not sure who enjoyed the book more, myself or my kids! But either way, this was a really nice book for kids.
The story was about a puppy dreaming of his toys coming to life. Too cute! The illustrations really went well with the lines of the story and really held my sons interests. Thats a plus in a kids book. The moral of this story is a wonderfully taught one. That it's okay to have scary or bad dreams, but they are just that: dreams. Dreams won't bother you in real life if you don't let them.
This is written in a wonderful easy-to-read style and between that and the wonderful illustrations, I'd say that this book is worthy of 5 stars and perfect for a family reading night before bed. Highly recommended for anyone with children ages 3-8!
Great for those kids that have a wild imagination Dec 15, 2009

Jack's Dreams Come to Life is a cute children's book about a dog with a vivid imagination! Jack has some funny and scary tales of what he sees after falling asleep. I read this book to my 3 1/2 year old. It didn't really hold his attention that much. It was a lot of words on each page in the middle of the book. It would be hard to minimize the wording since it sets the stage for his wild imagination and what Jack sees. He did like the illustrations and I thought they were superb! I will keep this book and read it again in a few months when my son is older and has more of an attention span. I think this would be a great book for children 6 and up to show what you can imagine and play and dream up and have fun with. Great for those kids that have a wild imagination and love to pretend!
Happy dog gets in trouble then dreams of more trouble Nov 27, 2009

Jack was a pleasant dog who loved to keep busy even if that meant getting into trouble. As he played outside, the things he picked up turned out to be something other than what he thought they were and he jumped away from those, went to a nearby tree, curled up, and went to sleep.
In Jack's dreams he saw many things he wanted to play with but everyone turned into someone that only gave him more trouble. His dreams were terrible! A cow came by, mooooed, and awoke Jack. He was glad to get away from that dream as he went into the house and back to reality.
A delightful and very nicely illustrated story that will delight children from 3 to 8. Thank you Sara Jackson.
Will appeal to children ages 3-7 Nov 22, 2009
By Midwest Book Review "Jack's Dreams Come To Life" is a glowing book about the amazing scary toy farm animal dreams of Jack the dog. Jack is a grown up dog who does not play with puppies any more. Still, he rushes back into the house and checks his toy box after he wakes up from a dream in which all his toys become giant sized and seem to try to trap him. Delicate paintings of Jack and his dreams bring the story's sensitivities to life for little children "Jack's Dreams Come To Life" will appeal to children ages 3-7.

Jack is a dog who lives on a ranch with several other animals. He falls asleep and dreams about falling into his toy box with all of his squeaky toys. Desperate to find a way out. When he finally manages to wake up, he rushes to his toy box to make sure all of his toys are accounted for.
Damien liked this book. He was really fascinated with the pictures.
