WHAT A RIDE ! Sep 19, 2009 This book was a joy to read. Kause, leads us on a magical mystery tour, through the outback, the ocean, the land of dreams, ultimately to redemption. A childhood sweetheart, Miranda, turns out to be the force of love in adulthood, that drives our hero forward, regardless of his delusional, self destructive condition. Kause had me fooled right up to the last pages. I really never suspected the stalker's identity, despite some subtle clues. Now, looking back, the revelation is obvious, clear, inevitable. I don't think I've ever read such a modern tale of love, adventure, sex, death and magic all rolled in to one. It was fun hanging out underwater with Turtle, visiting deceased Dad in the ocean grotto, being rescued by Pelican, wandering though infancy and puberty with Kause's mates. One thing I appreciate is the point blank lyrical style of prose, feeding the reader just enough information and nothing more, allowing us to concoct a much more vivid world, than having to trudge through phone books of flowery description. I look forward to Kause and Effect !!!
Natalya Dolgopolova--book lover Sep 09, 2009 What a wonderful and crazy surprise ending. I never knew what was going to happen next.

You will LOVE this book! Sep 07, 2009 I had the privilege to read a final draft of this book and really enjoyed it. The author takes you on a journey you won't forget. If you like suspense, love stories, and fantasy novels, you'll love this one. The author manages to bring the above all into one book. I hear it may continue into a series. I hope that it does. You won't be disappointed!
