A book of ACTION : ) Sep 25, 2008 There are many amazing books in the area of self development, finding purpose and meaning in one's life. We live in amazing times where the teachings of so many masters are readily available to us if we just take the time. The greatest trap is that one can remain a perpetual student, and never move beyond mental competence and actually take some real world action for real world results. To create REAL change!
Keep Your Eyes on the Prize is a beautifully succinct book focused on two of the most important facets of one's life, that of purpose, and gratitude. To explore and define ones purpose is to find peace in the question of "why am I here". To increase our reasons to be grateful, to give and to spread love and joy in the world is to bring more love and joy into our own life. I can't think of anyone who couldn't do with more of that!
Where this book is truly unique is what's NOT written within. Full of space to actually write, explore and develop these areas, in logical, step by step fashion, the reader is actually engaged and comes up with personal answers. REAL ways to define one's life, REAL ways to give more and be more grateful. REAL WORLD RESULTS!!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and have to admit I've never enjoyed "defacing" and scribbling all over a book more : )
A book for anyone who wants to get real results, real simple and real FAST : )

An Author's View Aug 21, 2008 I am one of the authors of this book and thought I would describe how Angela and I came to write 'Keep Your Eyes On The Prize.' You see, we have never met. Angela lives in Canade and I live in Texas, and we participate in an online discussion forum. The Life Purpose exercise I describe in the book is a narrative of an actual group exercise where several people, including Angela, participated in discovering their life purpose. It went so well and had such an impact that Angela and I decided to combine our efforts in co-authoring a book about it. Angela wrote two additional chapters on Rabdom Acts of Kindness and Gratitude, which totally complement the Life Purpose exercise. The result is a delightfull little book that will show you that discovering your Life Purpose, and living with gratitude and kindness, are truly the foundation for a happpy and congruent life.
