Exciting Story Feb 09, 2007
I loved this book, as I could identify with the main character James and the things he did. The children had a very exciting adventure and it makes you think that there is so much out there that we don't know about. Children need to read more about spiritual things because life can be hard and knowing that there are good forces around to help you makes you feel good and helps you cope.

I really enjoyed this book as it is different from other adventure stories. I wanted to keep reading to find out more about the characters and what happened to them. I would recommend this book to all kids who like adventure and mystery stories.

The story is set in an Australian country town in New South Wales and begins as a Summer holiday on a farm for three children. It quickly develops into an adventure with an underlying mystery, finally revealing a secret invention that allows them to gain an understanding of karmic lessons. The metaphysical encounters the children experience are simply and sensitively portrayed. The book is fast paced and compact. Recommended reading for all ages.
