German-Yugoslavians Aug 13, 2007
By NurseAngel This book was very interesting - I could not put it down. I am appalled at the abuse and humiliation that these innocent people were put through. I, as a Jew, have compassion for these people. I am sure the abusers are all rotting in Hell along with the Nazi's! Thank you for writting a story that needed to be told.

Kruschevlje: Concentration Camp for German-Yugoslavs after World War II Aug 13, 2007

This book showed how bad it was in Communist Yugoslavia during the late 1940's. The German Yugoslavians were treated like outcasts and could not return to their homeland. I have been told by my mother how bad it was. Now I know how bad it was for them. The author explained how rough she had it . I now can respect my mother what she went through in another camp. This story should be told to everyone

Review / Kruschevlje: Concentration Camp for German Yugolsavs... Sep 03, 2007
By Murf's Good Stuff Therese Schmidt minces no words in describing the horror and hardships she, her family and the other German Yugoslavs forced to live in this camp experienced. It sheds light on a subject never mentioned in World History. Definitely worth reading. Thank you Therese for finding the courage to write about this after so many years!

Joy and Family Aug 20, 2007

"joyous"
This book was so interesting to me. Not only because it is about my husbands grandma, but because I learned about all the horrible things that happened to innocent people during the war. I enjoyed hearing about her childhood, and trying to figure out how she has become the woman she is today. This book is a very easy read, but it was hard to put down. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I highly recommend this book.
