5Charm against daggers.  Jan 27, 2009
By andrew garvin & eleni seliniadou
This novel is Lady Macbeth's life and loves in her own words. Lady Macbeth wants the love of a strong man. But what does she need most? Love? Or power? I found this a thrilling roller-coaster set in 11th century Scotland and Cornwall. The protagonist deploys more charm, eloquence, craft, sexiness, animal spirits, foresight and planning than the men do long bows, armour, axes and daggers.

5A Bewitching Read  Nov 21, 2008
By Anon "A Customer"
A bewitching novel about the life and loves of Shakespeare's heroine. Power goes straight to the dark heart of Lady Macbeth and exposes the real nature of her hold over her husband. I recommend this to fans of the play Macbeth. Here we see Shakespeare's heroine as a woman fighting to survive in a man's world. Using all her feminine wiles to foil male plots Lady Macbeth emerges as a passionate if damaged woman. An erotic and dramatic romp through the Dark Ages!
