5Good for you Mike  Jun 11, 2008
I read the entire book the day I got it. Knowing most of the players make it a very good read. Sounds like the staff and cons got really screwed with "Gobi" in the drivers seat. Sorry Sgt. Mike had to give up his career. Mike will be fine. Hard to keep a good man down. Keep the wind in your face Mike. Great Book.
Your Brother in the Wind,
Big Steve Z.

5AMUSING AND INSIGHTFUL  May 05, 2008
It is a well written book and very insightful. It makes you feel as if you are working in the prison. Very eye opening and funny. The author's picture is awesome.

5The truth hurts...  Dec 22, 2007
Awesome; though one part in particular is greatly inaccurate, those who know the real truth know to which part I refer. (As do those who collaborated their own truth) The stories bring back memories, some good, some bad, and lotsa chuckles . And there are lots more stories where those came from, just wait...Good job, Mike. Anybody planning on working at this circus who's not a clown with connections should read this first to save yourself hassles and heartache.

4Laughter Behind the Tiers  Dec 17, 2007
I enjoyed Mike's book, I was laughing through most of it, and shaking my head through the rest. For anyone who hates their job, read this book and relize it can't be that bad !

5vacation spot  Dec 12, 2007
Just got done with the book. it's not a county jail it's a playground for prisoners and politicians.no wonder they keep coming back, and some pay for the positions they have.i don't understand how any real man could put up with with cowards and kiss-ups.i feel bad that glodis robbed mike of 17 years of service.if a man tells the truth as mike did,he will always be scorned by his inferiors.in the real world you earn your spot by what you do. at the county jail and politics its how you suck up and how much you pay for your job.the cream rises to the top and mike writes that the milk is already soured by the people that run things in the jail.it is a funny book and should be read by all that are in the criminal justice system. fred s
