Letter From Spiti: a novel

A fictional travelogue that narrates a search for spirituality in the modern world, presenting an argument against fundamentalism. An anti-fundamentalist on the road to redemption: Benjamin Chacko arrives back in India, his homeland, having left the US in protest of the war on Iraq. He sets out on a journey of self-discovery, traveling from Mumbai to the Spiti valley, a remote Himalayan region. Along the way we learn of his disillusion with religion, his distrust in philosophy and his critique on society. But what drives him? When he meets Yvette, a fellow traveler, the karmic burden of his past is revealed.
