A heartfelt and true story by author, Herbert LePore, Letters to Pilgrim gives readers a glimpse into the private thoughts and lifelong grief felt by the father of an aborted baby. When Herbert LePore found out that his college sweetheart, Willow, was pregnant and planning to abort their baby, he was adamantly opposed to the abortion. Still, Willow and her parents refused to change their minds. Letters to Pilgrim is a collection of letters written by the author to his unborn child. In his letters, he includes his heavenly daughter in the memories and events of his life, interjecting what might have been-if she had been allowed to live.
