Changing Lives May 11, 2009

'Life Changers' written by Harold Begbie and republished by Carl "Tuchy" Palmieri and funded by [...] has been reprinted 12 times and is 100 years old but still is being read and is still helping to change lives. The book is about Frank Buchman, referred to as FB throughout, a man who had the ability to change lives of many through his teachings of self will and Christianity. This is a spiritual book and makes one question your own will and ability to change your life yourself. It is more about your own relationship with God and how you view your life than about a certain religion. It talks about sin and good and bad actions. FB's interpretation may be a little different than yours but it makes you think and possibly want to change your life. The stories are interesting but I found them a little hard to focus on them without wanting to put the book down for awhile. It is a good book to discuss with others and to take your time reading.

After all this time its hard for me to believe that this book is a book that was originally published ages ago. Not to be cliche, but, as the other readers remarked it is a very inspirational work. It would make a remarkable gift to anyone, especially someone that is currently going through personal hardship or tribulation.

By Banker Inspirational book to say the least. Life throws us curves all the time some good and some bad. This book is a good read to help find different ways to deal with those difficult times. Even though published over 100 years ago, very thought provoking. It puts a different perspective on your life, and makes you examine it closer. The choices you make, which way to go when you come to a fork in the road. The author reminds you that God is an important part of your life.

"Life Changers" is a truly inspiring book written by Harold Begbie overa 100 years ago. You wouldn't expect a book so old could be so relevant today. I am so glad that Carl Tuchy Palmieri republished this book for today's readers. Life is hard and complex and often confusing. This book helps us break it into manageable pieces with simple, concise advice. He focuses on things we know but often forget. It easy to forget what life is all about. Reading this book helped me refocus on the things that are really important to me. You will take away a lot of good advice when you finish this book!
Life Changers Dec 09, 2010
By L. J. I love the great inspirational books that Carl "Tuchy" Palmieri has gathered and republished for all to read. This book is no exception! "Life Changers" is a wonderful book that despite being printed a century ago, the message has stood the test of time. If you find that your faith is not as strong as it once was, pick up a copy of this book. After reading it, you will remember why God is such an important part of our everyday lives.
