Light Up the Darkness: Christianity, Calvinism, and Coherence in the Film I Am Legend

Few people appreciate the deeper meanings hidden in many of today's films. Light Up the Darkness uncovers a number of these themes and virtues in the movie “I Am Legend” from a uniquely Christian perspective. The book first looks at issues brought to the table by the movie and then analyzes those problems in light of some of today's most popular worldviews. This apologetic twist, in combination with dozens of parallels between the message of Jesus and the movie, come together in an eccentric mix of theology, philosophy, and ethics to form the ultimate faith and film publication.

5EXCELLENT  Sep 18, 2008
By K. Radde
I wasn't expecting much from this self-published book, but compared to other books of faith and film and apologetics, "Light Up the Darkness" was rather impressive. With over 200 citations and a substantial bibliography, I found it difficult to ignore the authors arguments about truth, knowledge, movies, and the world views of movies. Highly recommended!
