Little Hubble Duck

C.S. Hubble's debut children's book, Little Hubble Duck, stems from her abstract paintings of ducks. These duck paintings carried such a strong narrative that a local librarian, upon seeing the paintings during an art show, suggested Hubble write a story about the little duck's adventures. In an e-mail, the librarian said, "I can't wait to see what your Little Hubble Duck will do on her adventures..." and one year later the book was written and illustrated. Hubble illustrated the book with accomplished Lithuanian designer Jurga Petkus. These hand-painted silk illustrations transform Little Hubble Duck's adventure into a journey for children and adults of all ages.
