Littleville

Life in the small town of Littleville is anything but tame. The mayor is covered in tattoos, the police force is under constant investigation for corruption, and seventy percent of the city’s employees are convicted felons. In the midst of it all is Jimmy Martin, a hard-living, middle-aged lothario trailed by a string of ex-wives, girlfriends, and relatives whose “entire vocabulary was made up of four-letter words.” When Jimmy is hospitalized for heart surgery, his seven sisters and their respective families descend upon the town, bringing plenty of hot tempers and bitter feuds with them. It’s not long before the residents of Littleville discover that the only thing worse than crossing one Martin is crossing all of them. Jim Bob Sally’s raucous novel is a knee-slapping tale about one small-town family whose outrageous behavior earns them worldwide notoriety, the likes of which Littleville has never seen.
