Real World Advice, Not Hype Dec 19, 2005
By S. Rountos I found this book to be a great summary of Stavros' no nonsense way to live healthy and fit. No crazy diets, gimmicks, gadgets or marathon workout sessions just effective fitness information and a healthy dose of advice that has helped his clients lose weight permanently by changing the way they view their lifestyle. One of my favorite parts of the book is where Stavros discusses the amount of time you actually need to workout each week to stay fit and lose weight (1 hour+ workouts multiple times a week are not really feasible for real-world working people who are not movie stars). Another part I thought was really helpful (and lacking in most other material I've seen) are the "mental exercises" to keep yourself motivated and excited about getting fit and staying there. This is definitely not an unbiased review because I have known Stavros for many years and can personally attest to the fact that his program works: it is a simple and effective program that anyone can use.

By S. Testa Stavros' book is well-researched and based on reality - not hype. Permanent weight loss can only be achieved when you are committed to making permanent, healthy changes to your lifestyle. This book will help you make those changes.
