A Common Sense Approach to Diet and Exercise Mar 11, 2008 I thoroughly enjoyed Marcy Gregory's book. Her suggestions are rooted in her knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and human behavior. The book is sprinkled with interesting tips and anecdotes that made for a great read. Best of all, the book is compact enough to slip into your purse and consult on a meal by meal basis.

Works for Guys too Mar 01, 2008 My wife bought this book and was so enthusiastic about it that I got pulled into it. To my surprise, I've found that the ideas work for all kinds of people, including guys (I upped my number of food portions to accomodate my bigger size).

Fantastic! Feb 29, 2008 This book has provided me with the tools to eat sensibly without dieting. I am now able manage my weight without limiting certain foods, but rather by understanding the components of a healthy meal and portion control. Marcy Gregory, M.S., also advocates the importance of exercise in maintaining a healthy body and good figure--every little bit helps! Her book is motivational and inspirational. This isn't just for perimenopausal women; it's for women of every age, and even men. We all struggle with how to eat, and "Lose the Belly Fat" will put you on track.
