Fantastic! Feb 29, 2008
By Carly Arielle This book has provided me with the tools to eat sensibly without dieting. I am now able manage my weight without limiting certain foods, but rather by understanding the components of a healthy meal and portion control. Marcy Gregory, M.S., also advocates the importance of exercise in maintaining a healthy body and good figure--every little bit helps! Her book is motivational and inspirational. This isn't just for perimenopausal women; it's for women of every age, and even men. We all struggle with how to eat, and "Lose the Belly Fat" will put you on track.

I was a bit disappointed with the size of the book (50 pages) for the price of $14.99. The price is a bit steep for what is nothing more than a common sense eating plan. The basis for almost every diet that I have ever seen is quite simple (and I've tried most of them) -- eat less, exercise more. No matter if the book is 50 pages or 500 pages, this is what every diet boils down to. There is no magic to dieting. The formula is pure and simple. If you eat less and exercise more, you will lose weight. It's not rocket science.

Works for Guys too Mar 01, 2008
By Mark Davis My wife bought this book and was so enthusiastic about it that I got pulled into it. To my surprise, I've found that the ideas work for all kinds of people, including guys (I upped my number of food portions to accomodate my bigger size).

By Rebecca Altman I really liked this book. It was concise, so it was quick to read and easy to understand. The principles that Ms. Gregory talks about are easy to implement, and I've noticed so much change already.
I really recommend this book. If you want to understand the hormonal changes in your body, and the reason why you have belly fat, "Lose the Belly Fat" is indispensable.

Marcy Gregory, M.S. gives advice with kindness,yet a clearness that people will easily respond to in order to have success in their belly/weight loss endeavors. Anyone using this wonderful self directed book will find it invaluable and easily adaptable to their own lifestyle following Marcy's guidance.
