If You Are Sexually Active, READ THIS BOOK! Jan 15, 2009
By R. Warren "Loving" is a wise, accessible guide to the spiritual and psychological effects of sexual activity. In an honest, revealing way, Williams shares true stories from his and others' lives that demonstrate the hidden dangers of a superficial approach to sex, and the spiritual significance of our sexual relationships.
Teens beginning their sexual lives can save themselves a great deal of confusion and heartbreak if they read this book. Adults will likely find clarity regarding confusing aspects of their past or current intimate relationships. As a marriage and family therapist for over twenty years, I highly recommend this book for anyone who is sexually active or about to be.

Freud Was Only a Beginning Jan 12, 2009
By Stuart Cooke Freud said that whenever two people make love, at least six people are involved. Williams goes beyond this in exploring the mysteries and complexities of mankind's seminal act.
LOVING is an eye-opening, revealing account of aspects rarely touched upon in either popular culture or academia. The experiences he reports on, from men and women of all ages, will call up moments of recognition and greater understanding. There is no other book like it. It's fascinating.
Highly recommended for young people who have or have not had sex as well as young and older adults with too much or too little experience.
A new way of considering Sex Nov 12, 2009
By Marie Cleveland Emmanuel's book " Loving " is beautifully written as befits the subject matter ...but by no means is it pious and narrow minded . It emphasises the deep repercussions of casual or unloving sex upon the human spirit or soul .We are made aware of the real truths but left to ponder and make our own informed choices.
A sensible review of sex and loving Oct 20, 2009

Sex is a wonderful gift to the human race - the only species that can separate sex and procreation. But many people assume sex to be another kind of physical exercise. In fact, as the number of people being treated for sex addiction indicates, sex releases powerful emotions and can influence the psyche like a drug. This book explains the forces that influence people via sex and by examples illustrates the damage sex can do if approached casually. I would have liked to see more about the negative impact of excessive masturbation and something about how the condom reduces the risks, both emotional and physical, accompanying the sex act by limiting fluid exchange; but this is an excellent book that I will give to my children to read as soon as they approach puberty.
