5Very well done  Oct 28, 2009
By Cheryl Spiller
Since I have been involved in a couple of MLM businesses, I didn't really expect to find much useful info in this book. I was wrong. I learned more about how MLM businesses really operate from reading this book than from all the other books on MLM's combined.

If you are thinking about joining an MLM business, read this book first. In simple, easy-to-understand words and examples, the author offers realistic information that will help you make an informed decision as to whether you have what it takes to be successful in an MLM business. Most people don't have the necessary skills and characteristics. Because of that, they just end up defeated and broke.

If you are already in an MLM business, the chapter on "Effective Networking" alone is worth the price of the book. I wish I had read this book before I joined an MLM. It would have saved me a lot of time, money, and frustration.

5Read this book to truly understand MLMs  Oct 13, 2009
By Gigi F. Centaro
I truly wish I had read this book before I had invested time and money in an MLM. I could not understand why I was not making any money with the MLM company I joined. I worked hard and used the recommended systems, but success eluded me. I blamed myself for a long time thinking that if I only worked harder I would create the wealth I had been promised. After reading this book, I understand that my lack of success was not due to my lack of effort but due instead to inherent problems with how MLMs are set up.

In a very simple, straightforward style, the author explains what it takes to make a dependable income in an MLM. He gives realistic advice on how to set up a home based MLM business, how to determine if you have the characteristics to be successful in an MLM and how much money you can expect to make in the building process.

Read this book to help you decide if an MLM company is for you. If you have already joined an MLM, than read this book to learn strategies on how to effectively network in order to find the people you need to create an income from your MLM.

2Do your due diligence  Nov 17, 2009

My review is based on the pages available to read here on Amazon.
I think the author's assessment of the industry is superficial.
He states he is not a fan of MLM businesses. Many of his observations
are congruent with his outlook. I am not saying that many of his
interpretations cannot ring true; just that for someone seeking to grow
a healthy, profitable business, this resource should be used to ask,
"What is the author missing?" questions.
