Macinaw's Memoirs is a collection of adventures experienced in the life of a youngster who chose to fulfill his desires to explore the unknown after a barn fire separated him from his mother. His youth, coupled with his passion for hunting, led him into many dangerous situations. He survived by using the skills his mother taught him during nightly rendezvous around the barn and sheer instinct. The adventures are told by the cat himself, revealing life as it appeared to the small but powerful creature. Macinaw comes to appreciate his human family and learns a new way of life with them. Just when he thought life was very disappointing, his family rally around to give him the surprise of his life.
