Mady W. And The Enchanted Forest

Mady Winthrop (Mady W.) is a twelve-year-old girl who lives a very comfortable life on her grandfather's beautiful estate. Unlike most twelve-year-old girls, Mady W. lives in a castle surrounded by lavish gardens, horse stables, and breathtaking, vast fields. This may sound exciting, but Mady W. is quite lonely. She lives a very sheltered and protected life and has no friends except for her horse Koko. It is with Koko that Mady W. decides to set out to find adventure and a new life in the small city just beyond the boundaries of her grandfather's estate. What Mady W. does not know are the dark secrets of the perilous forest that stands between the estate and the small city. Mady W. and Koko will have to cleverly devise plans to escape from the forest and to stay alive.

5My Daughter Loved this book  Apr 20, 2005
By Phil Rivers
I heard about this children's book from a co-worker that had told me his daughter was glued to it. I bought it for my 9 year old daughter and she read it cover to cover (without putting it down). She can't wait for the next one.
