Manipulation: A Land Force Warrior Chronicle

What if one man controlled the battlefield in the war on terror? In 2009, on the brink of global conflagration, the Middle East has spiraled into chaos in the absence of U.S. military presence in Iraq. China has filled the vacuum to capture U.S. oil and the Iranian mullahs have ‘the bomb’. Under pressure from the new President and a ‘hawkish’ Congress, the Pentagon is ordered to modernize its weapons systems for immediate redeployment—this time with enough firepower to get the job done. MANIPULATION: A LAND FORCE WARRIOR CHRONICLE is a military techno-thriller that introduces Patrick Fortune Brady, the psychotic CEO of Zybercor Corporation, whose breakthrough technologies are indispensable to the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s new mission. Driven by a tortured soul Brady manipulates Wall Street, the Beltway, and multiple global interests under the guise of national security and shareholder value. Corruption runs amok but one patriot, seeking justice, attempts to rise above the maelstrom.

4Intelligent fiction!  Feb 23, 2008
This is intelligent fiction (that I have a feeling isn't so fictitious). Scott's grasp of the English language is superb. His references to current events, historic facts, literary characters, cultural traits, and general "in-the-know" axioms are praiseworthy. Character development is outstanding - these people are way too real!

I enjoy mysteries and legal thrillers, and this book awakened my curiosity from the get-go. I needed to know! Whatever you do: don't read the end first. It's TOO good!
