This book was very hard to put down. Not only was it extremely well writeen, but the story told was enthralling. I look forward to more work from this author.
You will also need a large supply of kleenex while reading this. It's extremely hard to believe how bad conditions were back then.

After starting this book, I could not put it down. A wonderful story that reminds us that not every child has a happy, loving home that most of us take for granted. This book helps us to appreciate those who make a difference with love.
