5Great book -- and timely!  Jul 24, 2009
By Edward Kachinske
This is a great hands-on manual for anyone who thinks they might get sucked up into the tornado of layoffs that we've seen so much of lately. Like all of Doug's other books, this one is well written and full of practical tips & tricks that you can put into use immediately. This one should be on everyone's shelf.

5Marketing is much more than selling  Jul 27, 2009
By Donald L. Joseph
Marketing is not selling. It is much more.

Wikipedia defines marketing as: " an integrated communications-based process through which individuals and communities discover that existing and newly-identified needs and wants may be satisfied by the products and services of others." It is shaping your product/service offerings to meet the needs of your customer--in this case your current employer.

Doug's book shows you how to apply sound marketing principles to your own career.

5Perfect for Recent Grads!  Jul 27, 2009
By S. Arntz "redheads for reading"
I bought this for my daughter as a graduation/career catalyst. She found it so helpful that I'm purchasing 2 more for gifts. Also great for baby boomers needing to rejuvenate their job mindset. Highly recommend!
