This could change everything for guys in the dating scene Jun 02, 2009

First, I gotta say I liked the writing style. It was so conversational I honestly forgot I was reading. I've never experienced that before in a book. The guy makes some good points. The American dating scene is not what it used to be and can be frustrating. I agreed with what he said there.
What's amazing is how I felt like this could be very legitimate and accessible to the average American man. If that is the case, then women here are going to have some competition. If any guy can be so "Golden", as Mark puts it, to these women that he can bring one home, he is going to be the envy of every other guy. Who wouldn't want to have a gorgeous woman ten years younger who puts you first in her thoughts and energies.
He's got an amazing how-to segment that walks you through from landing in the country, introductions, dating, finding one, and what it takes to get her home. It sounded like a very cool adventure. I felt like I could relate to Mark and he has some interesting stories. I've got to say I was very glad there were dozens of photos throughout. It's a guy thing.
International dating could change everything. I hope a lot of guys get this book. We may see some change in the American dating scene too. I think the competition would be good.

A must-read for all single men. Jun 01, 2009

Mark Edward Davis's book MASTERING THE ADVENTURE OF INTERNATIONAL DATING is a must read! I think anyone searching for their true love would agree. This book gives hope and a path for every man who is looking to find true love. It explained everything I need to do and covered all of the concerns I had about international dating. Since the time I first heard Mark on a radio interview, I started writing to a dozen or so of these amazing women. I'm now corresponding with the several gorgeous ladies from the Ukraine and will be meeting each of them in person next month! Mark made me aware of the Web site SheIsThere.com and his community site iDating4Men.com a few months ago. Now that I know I will go to the Ukraine to get eye to eye with these women, this book has become invaluable to me.
The book is very easy to read. You see, I am one of those guys who doesn't like to read. I haven't read any whole book cover to cover in a while; yet I read through this one in a few days. The pictures are very helpful to understand this thing that I've never done before and yet feel like I know what to expect when I get there. Knowing what is going to take place is wonderful. The ideas on how to handle what is going to happen are also great. I looked up all those profiles. WOW. The things I learned are invaluable.
Whoever you are reading this; buy a copy and find out for yourself.

Great Book! I learned so much about international dating! May 04, 2009

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased the book and by the end of the first chapter I was so glad that I ordered it! Mark is a good author and his personal experiences make it so fun to read. I am in my mid forties and had given up on dating and now after reading "Mastering the Adventure of International Dating" I am ready to go overseas to meet my soulmate!! With Mark's guidance I am hoping to make it over to the Ukraine this summer - I can't wait!! My self confidence just rose 110% and I am ready to meet the woman of my dreams!! Thank you Mark Davis!!

Author Mark Davis has done a great job of breaking down the wonderful and exciting world of international dating. In a well written, easy to follow and also humorous way, Mr. Davis guides the average joe through all the steps of international dating, and opens the door to finding the woman of your dreams.

I read this book the first time back in the spring of 2009 shortly after it was published. I was immediately attracted to the writing style which is conversational and informative without being "preachy". I like how the author talks respectfully about the women and is very clear this is not a book about how to get laid in a foreign country. This is a book about how to find a wife and I especially like how the author includes many first person anecdotes to reinforce his central message that it is indeed possible for a normal, average guy to find a good wife in a foreign country. This was my first introduction to the concept of International dating and to the idea that American women are difficult to date, for all men, not just me. From that point I began to explore dating overseas, first by joining a website for Ukraine women. From there I gravitated to websites for Latin Women, for several reasons. I've always been more attracted to the sultry, exotic look of Latinas more than the blonde, blue eyed slavic look of Eastern European women or the small stature of Asian women. I was very soon convinced that I would start traveling internationally and it is easier for me to travel from the US East Coast to Latin America than to Eastern Europe or Asia. In the summer of 2009 I made my first of two trips to Costa Rica to meet women that I had been corresponding with online. Both trips were enjoyable and productive, I didn't meet the love of my life but I did get many glimpses into a lifestyle and culture that appealed to me. That winter I made my first trip to Colombia and was so impressed with the women and the country that I decided I would live in Colombia. Now I have lived in Colombia almost two years and I am delighted that I made the decision. I am now engaged to a beautiful, sexy, well educated Latina who is younger and more attractive than any woman I could hope to date in my own country. Looking back, the turning point for me was reading this book by Mark Edward Davis. His book encouraged me to start a journey which continues to be exciting and adventurous. I highly recommend this book for anyone who may be discouraged with the dating scene at home and is ready to explore the wide world of international dating. The author is primarily talking about Eastern Europe, but the information he shares is equally useful in Asia and Latin America. I think the book will be a big help and a big inspiration for you. His EuropeanDreamConnections web page is an excellent resource, too.
