Mau Mau: A Revolution Betrayed

Maina wa Kinyatti is a Kenyan historian and author of several books, including Thunder from the Mountains: Mau Mau Patriotic Songs (1980), Kenya's Freedom Struggle (1987), The Pen and the Gun (2006) and History of Resistance in Kenya (2008). In 1982 he was arrested by the Kenyan authoritarian regime, charged with sedition and imprisoned for six and a half years.
