Brings out the eerie side of Jersey's Hudson Valley area.... Aug 24, 2009
Cooke's details of characters and places make everything come alive ... even the dead! Knowing the area he writes about, although the town name is fictional, makes it even more enjoyable. Regardless of where you live, this book is a must read, especially if you are a vampire fan and enjoy the taste of blood and dark humor. This would also be interesting to see as a TV series.... Melody is a masterfully woven tale that grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the entire book. I found myself entrigued and unable to put it down.

Like a modernized John Henry, Dan Cooke was born with a pneumatic nailer in his hand. He routinely stops out of control school buses and saves the lives of hundreds of children. Additionally, all of the Pope's pointy hats are blessed by Dan Cooke. Buy this book and it will change your life.
