Depression Aug 01, 2008
By Diane Middleton
"Bookie"
For the price I expected more of a book...this was just a pamphlet really, However it was interesting, written by a lady who lived through the Depression and gave a good view of day to day life.

Perfect for research reports and school projects Aug 02, 2006
By PTJM

The book "Middle Class Life During The Great Depression" states a great deal of facts and insightful details about this period of time in our nation's history. It is the perfect size (not too long and not too short) to read and use as a source for school reports and research papers. The way Labutta writes, eloquent, simple, and with lavish detail, makes this book enjoyable. This book is a must read for historians, high school students, and even the middle school aged. I highly reccomend anyone interested in learning about our nation's history to pick up a copy today!
