GREAT READ WITH THE KIDS: TOMORROW'S A NEW DAY Dec 15, 2009

Sometimes our kids have bad days and it's great to have a book with a great character that my kids can relate to. When my 7 year old comes home from school and it seems like one thing after another got to him, I can ask him if he had a Mike the Mouse kind of day. Usually he'll end up with a small laugh and say, "not that bad."
In this book, Mike the Mouse really does have a bad day and there's no magical ending to make all the bad things meaningful, just the comfort of his mom once he does manage to crawl back in. What I love about this book is it's life: sometimes your day just seems to go from bad to worse and the best we as parents can do is let our kids know that we're here for them and tomorrow is a new day. This should be a go-to book for all parents to help spark conversation. This book is also beautifully illustrated and each page of copy is set on a vivid page of color.

Amazing, beautiful artwork, engaging story filled with adventure and humor. Lots of fun to read your kids before bedtime, and it encourages adults to get involved as well...lend your own style to voicing the different characters, and make your kids laugh out loud!
